Conveniently located in Kettering town centre, opposite Saint Peter’s and Saint Paul’s church and the council buildings, this friendly hotel was once a traditional 16th century coaching inn.
The George Hotel offers traditional and comfortable rooms, some of which are en suite. A hearty breakfast is available from 07:00 each morning, with traditional food served until 21:00 every day. The hotel has conference facilities with 2 conference rooms that can cater from 4 up to 150 people. The restaurant can seat up to 45 guests and there are catering facilities available for special dietary requirements. The hotel has a car park with 20 parking spaces available on-site, while public parking places are available nearby.
As it is a 16th century building, the hotel does not have a lift, however a member of staff will be available to assist you if required.
The hotel is located in the town centre and is the first hotel you see as you approach the town centre from both the road and train station. The local train station is only a 5 minute walk away from the hotel.
There are restaurants in town centre within a short stroll from the hotel, as well as a traditional restaurant on-site. The hotel enjoys an excellent location in the heart of Kettering town centre and conservation area. Whether you are visiting local attractions, wanting to shop in the nearby pedestrianised area, or just relaxing whilst on business, the staff at the hotel will be happy to help you.
The staff at the hotel pride themselves on looking after the needs of their guests with a personal level of service. Always being aware of the demands of their guests and trying to make the guest’s stay a pleasurable experience, a planned refurbishment of many of the guest rooms is currently being undertaken.

The hotel is currently going through a refurbishment plan. It dos not have a lift on-site. All rooms are non-smoking.
The hotel provides both a substantial bar snacks menu, as well as full restaurant menu. Food is served during the day from 07:00 to 21:00 every day, except Sunday.
By Car (from the M1 north and south):
- Take junction 19, signposted Kettering.
- Follow the A14 for approximately 20 miles until the 2nd Kettering turn off (junction 8).
- Turn left at the roundabout and follow the road down the hill to a set of lights.
- Go straight ahead at the lights and up the hill to the 2nd set of lights.
- Turn left here (marked access only) and the hotel is on the left as you turn at the lights.
- The car park is at the side of the hotel.
